Here are a bunch of questions that we've been asked way too
many times to count, and decided to throw into the FAQ section
so our minds could be at peace! You're still allowed to ask
new questions of course, provided you complete the Challenge
of Death in under 53 seconds.....
What do you guys do here?

so that we may enthusiastically disseminate timely, unique, cutting-edge entertainment
for our members and the rest of our community as a whole.
How do I enroll?
Read the Constitution. The application
process is listed there.
Alright I’ve read
the Constitution, and I agree with it. Now, how do I enroll?
You need someone within the PA to sponsor you, and you need to express
that you want to join. You can do this either by sending an
e-mail to tgiemail@yahoo.com,
or by posting it in the Public forum. If you’d like you can post
up some ideas you have about the character you’d like to play,
take part in the RP forum to show off your talents, or attempt to bribe
the council with wondrous gifts.
How do I use an avacon on the forums?
First of all, go to your forum profile. There are several ways of using
an avacon, or "personalized picture", that will appear under
your name on your forum posts. The first way is to use one of the forums'
default avacons, which are available in a list there. Secondly, you can
enter a URL to link to an image that is online somewhere (although we
would prefer you do the following method to keep forum speed up). Finally,
you can upload your own avacon from your computer and use that
(any uploaded
icons must be no larger than 100x120 pixels and 200KB).
How quirky is too quirky? Is there a limit on
quirkiness?
Define quirkiness. Can anyone ever really define quirkiness?
Yes.
How do I change the title under my name on the
forums?
This is done in your forum profile. Previously it could only be set
by administrators, but now you can set your own title. Enter something
in "Custom Title" on your profile to have those words appear
under your name on your posts.
Are non-members allowed to create new threads in
the RP forum?
By all means, yes. Feel free to create and participate in threads. If
you create one, please be sure and place a header in the title, if it
is anything other than silly.
If goo and smorf combined and mutated what would
it become?
Smoo.
What SWG factions does this PA support?
We are a multi-faction PA. We are more concerned with the role-playing
aspects of the characters than with their faction affiliation. Any faction
standing that is attained by members is completely by their own choosing.
Kupo?
Kupo.
What is a Tamborean?
A highly elusive species, from the planet Tambor... Truly deadly, they
prefer to call "Smoo", "Gorf".
Am I allowed to be a member
of more than one Guild/Player Association)?
We here at TGi don’t have any problem with this. That’s
not to say that the other Guild won’t though.
Can I be a member of multiple
"factions" within this organization?
Currently, no. You may only belong to one area. However, you are permitted
to switch from one faction to another, but only under extreme circumstances
and adequate discussion of reasons (or you can just pay Sailin' $20).
Dingle?
Dingle dingle.
Is it done yet?
Yes!
Where do I take that test
to find out what kind of character I play in RPGs?

What are the differences
between a "Pan Galactic
Gargle Blaster" and a "Corellian Noose?"
The actual taste of the two drinks are the only noticable difference.
The Gargle Blaster is reminicent of getting hit in the head by a gold
brick laced with lemon. While the Noose is less refined in that it only
feels like you've taken a major hit to the throat. Both drinks are similar
in the fact that immediate hospitalization is normally required. Numerous
twelve step programs and help groups are in existence to assist those
that have imbibed them.
How do I use the cool emoticons on the forums?
When you are posting, look to the left of the typing window. If you
click one of the emoticons there, it will automatically be entered wherever
your cursor is blinking. If you click "Get More" a window will
pop up with the entire listing of emoticons avaiable for use. Clicking
on the image will insert the proper code into your text window.
Do you know where my pants are?
Probably the same place as your underwear... mind putting on a towel
or something? Ugh...
How do I get into the TGi chat room?

ways. If you have an IRC client, you can connect to the channel on irc.starwars-irc.net,
