The Adventures of Dr. McNinja by Christopher Hastings, et al
Schlock Mercenary - The Comic Space Opera by Howard Taylor

My two favorite.

The first has ended. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end, and is constructed episodically. Each episode *also* has a beginning, a middle, and an end. If you haven't read it, OR if you haven't read all of it, I highly recommend it. I'm glad it ended, because it was good, and it remained good through the end. Rollicking good fun all the way through.

The second is still going, having started in 2000 I think? And after the first few story arcs (which were kinda bad), each arc seemed to be better than the last for quite some time. It *will* end in the fairly near future, and I'm excited to see exactly how. It's a little less humorous, but still quite ridiculous. It brings up some rather fascinating questions about the WORLD OF TOMORROW, assuming tomorrow ever comes. (Takes place starting around 3000 CE.)

Why all this talk of endings? Certain other webcomics I've enjoyed for a while have hit a point at which the author seems to have run completely out of ideas and is just pulling stuff out of thin air, with the story quality just degrading rapidly, resulting in my losing interest completely. It's always a little sad when a great story comes to an end, but it's even sadder when a great story turns into crap so that there's never any satisfactory ending or closure.

Another good one: Darths & Droids. As the name might suggest, it's the Star Wars movies as a D&D campaign. Started 12 years ago and still going... looks like they're on the Muppet Show skit now.

Similarly: DM of the Rings.
